A short interim newsletter to highlight some upcoming events.
I’m getting ready for a no-knead sourdough bread workshop on October 17th, this one is in Cuige, above the Wholesome Kitchen in Mullingar. You’ll learn how to confidently make a variety of sourdough breads, and you will go home with a starter and a dough ready to bake the next day. just a few places remaining.
I have a lot on at the minute, so I’ll just be running one wreath workshop in December. As always it will be a sociable and creative evening, with tea and cake, and you’ll bring home a unique wreath to adorn your front door.
I mentioned in my last newsletter a very interesting project - Sustainability Horizons that I’m working on with Castlepollard Library. We are combining sustainability education with art. I’m very excited to be collaborating with Teresa Doyle and Bertille de Lestrade, both brilliant artists. Years ago when I lived in the U.S. I spent a lot of time around artists. It has taken some time for me to find myself back in that creative space here in Ireland (thanks Cúige for helping me find myself)
Posters below with more details - click here to book your place! You can come to one, or to many of the events.
I’m sure that I will have more to say about this project at the end of the month.
And I’ll leave you with this - Rachel played a lot of this kind of music at her workshops in Cuige- it’s perfect background music for creativity.
