Just a quick note to let you know about some free events coming up for Biodiversity week - I’ll be running a Biodiversity workshop in Belvedere, Mullingar, on Saturday May 20th, and the same format in Athlone on the following Saturday, May 27th.
A delicious lunch is included at both events, and it’s free! I’ll be bringing some plants to give away, as well as lots of information and practical hands-on activities to help you to increase biodiversity in your patch.
Here’s the link to register - hope to see some of you there!
Another date for your diary - the Monthly Coterie at Cuige is on 24th May - another free event, looking forward as always to meeting interesting people and having the chats there.
I’ll be back later in the month with details of all the interesting stuff that I got up to - it’s been a busy month!
As usual - here’s a song - this is an interesting one. New to me. A bit different to what I normally share. You may remember the lyrics from The Year of the Flood, by Margaret Atwood. This is a recording made for the audio book.
