Hi all - just a quick one to let you know about some workshops - in particular the Kombucha course (July 30th) which is offered at an early bird rate until the 18th July. There was a lot of interest in this when I ran the Cruinniu na nOg event, so I wanted to make one available for adults. It’s booking up fast, which is delightful for me!
There’s also a soap making workshop in Swainstown farm (between Trim and Dunshaughlin) on Saturday August 10th - they have a wonderful cafe, veg market and beautiful flowers there, so it’s a lovely day out - as well as learning a fabulous skill. I’m looking forward to shopping after the workshop. Still a few places left.
I’m also running 2 (free) kids workshops as part of the Wild Child events during Heritage Week - August 24th
And finally in September, as part of the Lake County Learnings project - supported by Westmeath Arts office - Gardening for biodiversity and plant propagation – The Refill Mill 10th September 6-8pm . Still a few places left. The Jam and Chutney workshop later in the month is fully booked, but let me know if you’d like to be put on the wait list.
So I suppose I’d better finish with a song - although you’ll be hearing from me in more detail about my July soon enough!
